<p>The Colwood Public Works team is preparing to grade and level the parking areas along the beach on Ocean Boulevard to improve accessibility for visitors and address drainage issues.</p>
<p>Work is scheduled for March 31 through April 1st.</p>
<p>If you are visiting the beach on these days, expect some parking areas to be blocked off for this important work.</p>

<p>Today, Colwood Mayor Rob Martin and Royal Bay Director of Development, Ben Mycroft&nbsp;from GableCraft Homes cut&nbsp;the ribbon to officially open the new public washroom building at Meadow Park Green in Royal Bay.</p>
<p>The washroom is a beautifully desgined&nbsp;public facility constructed by GableCraft Homes as part of the development plan, featuring automatic lighting, a fold-down baby change table, fountains&nbsp;for both humans and dogs&nbsp;and wheelchair accessibility. Landscaping enhancements will be completed this spring.</p>
